Workspace settings

Configuration for your active clinic, organized into five menus across the top: Clinic (Setup guide for a beginner-friendly launch path, General for regional defaults, the directory listing and your Demo Clinic, Clinic profile for the public page patients see, and Care locations for the departments, wards, rooms and beds inside each site), Care delivery (Appointments for availability and booking rules, and Clinical setup for governed care configuration), Organization (Team for the people who belong here, and Clinics and hospitals for your memberships and activation requests), Communication (WhatsApp for connected numbers, and Call recording for the recording policy), and Integrations (Developer for trusted integrations, Interfaces and downtime for message feeds, and Security for stored credentials). You need an active clinic selected to manage these; every setting applies to that clinic only.

What you can do here

Settings menus

Related areas share a menu in the bar at the top, so the bar holds a handful of categories instead of a long row of tabs. Open a menu to see its areas, each with a line on what it holds, and pick one; it loads immediately and has its own bookmarkable URL. The menu holding the open area is underlined and the area itself is checked. You see only the areas your role can open, a menu left with one area is shown as that area, and on a narrower screen the menus that do not fit move under More with their headings.

Setup guide

A five-step guided launch for owners and administrators: your clinic, locations, the services patients can book, doctors and their hours, and a final go-live check. Ticking a service creates, publishes, and links its forms, consent, and messages. Progress is saved to the clinic, and Clinical setup, Appointments, and Team remain available as Advanced setup.

General

The clinic's details and its regional defaults: preferred language, time zone, and default currency. These shape how dates, times, and money are shown across the workspace, and they are saved to the active clinic so everyone on the team shares the same defaults. Currency left on the platform default shows amounts in Indian Rupee (INR); any supported currency can be chosen instead.

Choices with guidance

Language, time zone, currency, and other known choices use searchable selection controls. The catalogs cover all supported values, the common currencies sit at the top of the list with the platform default first, currency rows include a representative country or issuing-region flag, and language choices can support one or several selections where the workflow allows it. A saved older value stays visible, and a valid locale code can still be added when a regional variant is not listed.

List in patient directory

A toggle in General that makes this clinic discoverable to patients. When on, the clinic appears in Find Care and patients can book appointments with it from My Space. Turn it on once you have set your availability in the Appointments tab. Only the non-PHI listing (name, region) is shared, never patient or clinical data.

Directory profile

When the clinic is listed, fill in the public profile shown in Find Care: a public name and location, your specialties, one or more languages from the searchable catalog, the services you offer, and a short description. Patients filter the directory by these, so keep them accurate. Only these fields are ever public; never enter patient information here.

Clinic profile

The public page patients see for this clinic: details, contact information, team, photos, FAQs, and search settings, with a live preview and a separate publish step. It is in the Clinic menu and keeps its own address, so an existing bookmark still opens it.

Team

Invite colleagues into this clinic and manage who belongs, with the roles each person holds (owner, clinic admin, doctor, care coordinator, patient). This section is available to owners and administrators.

Clinics and hospitals

Every clinic and hospital you belong to, with your roles, switching between them, and your activation requests. It is in the Organization menu beside Team, and it is also in the menu under your name and in the workspace switcher.

WhatsApp

WhatsApp, in the Communication menu, is where you connect the phone numbers this clinic messages patients from, and choose which messages each number sends. Web chat for the on-site widget is set up under Live chat.

Call recording

Turn call recording on or off for your clinic and choose how long recordings are kept: until deleted manually (the default) or for a fixed period, after which they are removed automatically. Visitor calls show a short recording notice when capture starts, and every playback or download is logged.

Plan

A card in General for owners and administrators: the plan the clinic is on, whether it is billed monthly or annually, the team it counts today and what that team costs on the plan, when a free period or trial ends, and the last day the plan is in force when it has an end date. A plan past its last day reads Expired: the clinic keeps its records and has the platform's standard allowances until the plan is renewed. Compare plans opens the pricing page for this clinic, where you can ask for a different plan or to renew one that has ended; a waiting request shows here with a way to withdraw it. Only our team sets a plan's dates, and owners and administrators are told in the app and by email when it changes. No card is taken and nothing is charged in the product: our team confirms every plan change with you.

Demo Clinic

A card in General for your clinic's practice copy: what it is, when it was last rebuilt and by whom, and whether a standing rebuild is turned on. Owners and administrators can hide it from everybody's workspace switcher, rebuild it now, or set a daily or weekly rebuild; a rebuild that is running shows how far it has got and can be withdrawn while it is still queued. Everyone else sees the explanation and the state. Resetting throws away whatever anybody is doing in it; your real workspace is never touched.

Interfaces and downtime

For workspaces that exchange messages with other hospital systems: the feeds themselves, the messages waiting to be dealt with, and what was written on paper while a system was down. Nothing here writes to a patient record.

Follow these steps

Configure a new clinic

  1. Select the clinic in the top-bar switcher first; settings are per clinic.
  2. Start with Setup guide for the shortest guided path, or open General to configure the clinic manually.
  3. In General, open each choice to compare its description, then set the clinic's language, time zone, and default currency and save. Currency stays on Indian Rupee (INR) unless the clinic picks another one.
  4. Open Clinic profile to prepare the public page patients see, Team to invite staff and review roles, and WhatsApp to connect how you reach patients.
  5. Set the Call recording policy before your team starts recording visitor calls.

Helpful habits

  • Set the General regional defaults early: language, time zone, and currency shape how the whole team sees dates, times, and money.
  • Check the Plan card when the team grows: Essential includes one doctor and charges every other person as a licence, so a plan with more licences included may cost less.
  • Review Team roles regularly; roles decide what staff can see and do in this clinic, so grant the smallest role that does the job.

Tips

  • Settings belong to the active clinic, so switching clinics clears the previous clinic's screen state and shows the selected clinic's configuration immediately.
  • Leaving a General field blank falls back to a sensible platform default rather than forcing a choice; for currency that default is Indian Rupee (INR).
  • Live chat has its own setup area under Engagement, and it is fully functional today.
  • Clinic profile, Clinics and hospitals, and WhatsApp are Settings areas rather than sidebar entries, so the Settings entry in the sidebar stays highlighted while any of them is open.
